A Small Cat

Recently, I put together a short book about a cat (I live with a cat, so inspiration was always close at hand).

I'll be publishing the individual pages to this blog, and to get started, here's the cover (click on the image for a full-sized version):

You may be wondering why I decided on a small book.

There are a few reasons, none of which are that I'm a crazy cat lady. One big reason was that I wanted to start thinking about text and different ways it can be laid out. It was also a handy way to teach myself about slightly more complicated images and layouts, while keeping a consistent look and feel throughout a project.
